Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71st birthday was celebrated with enthusiasm and reverie amongst BJP leaders, workers, supporters and the general audience on Friday, September 17, across India.
Varied events have been planned to celebrate PM Modi’s birthday across the country – on both virtual and ground levels – under the BJP’s sewa and samarpan campaign.
One such event was organised in Rajdhani Township on Radhanpur Road in Mehsana, Gujarat. A giant-size 71-foot cut-out of PM Narendra Modi was unveiled by Gujarat State President CR Paatil. The cut-out is made of vinyl sheets. Paatil unveiled this cut-out along with one of the organisers of the event Pintu Patel of Rajdhani Foundation. At the same venue, 171 couples will be offering prayers to Lord Ram for the long life of PM Modi.
Of the BJP leaders present on the occasion, in addition to Paatil, includes General Secretary Pradip Singh Vaghela, Shardaben Patel MP from Mehshana Lok Sabha seat, Manisha Ben Vakil, newly appointed Minister of State, Rajya Sabha Member Jugalbhai Thakor, Dudh Sagar Dairy Chairman Ashokbhai Chaudhary and others.
Paatil also inaugurated a 71-feet long rangoli of PM Modi at a mall in Vadodara organised by Dr Bharat Dangar, while a 182-meter-long cake was prepared and distributed among the poor and persons with disabilities (PwD) at the same venue.
The social media is abuzz with wishes being showered at PM Modi by leaders from across India.
