On account of Hanuman Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a 108 feet statue of Lord Hanuman in Morbi, Gujarat at 11 am on Saturday, 16 April 2022 via video conferencing.
The said statue is one of the four statues to be built in the four directions of the country under the ‘Hanumanji Chaar Dhaam’ project. The first statue of the project was set in the north in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh in 2010.
The third in the four-statue series will be established at Rameswaram, the work on which is underway.
Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated across India by the Hindus to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman. India is observing the Hanuman Jayanti festival on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to come on a three-day visit to Gujarat starting on April 18 to April 20. He will be inaugurating various projects at places including Dahod, Panchmahal, Junagadh, Jamnagar and Deodar.
