Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel addressed the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2022 Promotions in New Delhi today. The three-days event which will begin from January 10 seeks to attract investments in the state from different sectors.
Addressing the audience of the event, CM Patel informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the event at Gandhinagar. The theme of the event is “From Aatmanirbhar Gujarat to Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.
CM Patel said that in the 75th year of Independence when India is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Gujarat is consistently working towards making the Prime Minister’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat a reality.
He said that they are consistently working towards making India a “global powerhouse”.
The event was attended by several state heads and CEOs of multinational companies. For the main event from January 10, a large number of the domestic investors are likely to participate.
The summit will host events on the key national initiatives namely PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, Renewable Energy, Electrical Mobility and Futuristic Technology and Innovation.
The Gujarat government is organizing the event to scale up the investments in the next-generation infrastructure, energy and digital networks, startups and innovation, emerging technologies, research and development, electric vehicles amongst many other fields.
Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare of India, invited the investors to participate in the summit. He quoted the Prime Minister and said that “wealth creators should be respected”. He said that for a country to grow, they need wealth in their treasures and that can only be achieved by the wealth creators.
Both Dr Mandaviya and CM Patel invited the investors to participate in the Summit next year.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2022 – Towards a Sustainable and Aatmanirbhar Bharat will be organised at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar.
The first Vibrant Gujarat summit was organised in 2003, when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of the State.
