Prime Minister Narendra Modi enquired about the health of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in Parliament, days after her chartered plane made an emergency landing in Bhopal due to a technical snag, as per media reports. Sonia Gandhi assured PM Modi that she was doing fine.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday shared a photo of his mother Sonia Gandhi on social media, praising her for being the “epitome of grace under pressure”.
In the photo shared on Instagram, Sonia Gandhi was seen sitting and wearing an oxygen mask when their chartered plane made an emergency landing in Bhopal due to a technical glitch.
The Gandhis were on their way back to Delhi from Bengaluru, where they had attended a two-day mega-Opposition convention on July 17 and 18.
After the technical issue was solved, the Gandhis boarded an IndiGo flight to Delhi at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
