PM Narendra Modi joined the ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ organised under the Amrut Mahotsav of Azadi in Shimla. On 31st May, the Bharatiya Janata Party telecasted the function across Himachal Pradesh and India through virtual media. Meanwhile, PM Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the scheme from Gujarat and other states.
The Gujarat government organised the ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. The Gujarat districts’ dignitaries and millions of citizens joined the event through a virtual medium.
PM Modi addressed the audience and deposited the 11th instalment of ₹21,000 crores to 80 crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme through DBT. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said, “In the last eight years, PM Modi has given a new direction to India. He has given new avenues for development and became a symbol of faith, energy, hope, and expectation. The citizens of Gujarat have benefitted from the double engine government.”
CM Patel applauded PM Modi for his support towards the poor and women. Moreover, he claimed that the Prime Minister infused immense energy in the youth. He also put confidence in the farmers and expectations in a regular citizen. The CM said, “The entire nation can feel the presence of the Prime Minister’s developmental politics. He has taken many crucial steps towards transforming 21st century India.”
According to the Chief Minister of Gujarat, “The Modi government journey became successful on the five pillars of service, good governance, poor welfare, innovation, and determination. Its resource is dedicated towards poverty eradication and making India a world leader.”
Modi’s Mantra For Poverty Eradication
When Bhupendra Patel addressed the audience present in Gandhinagar, he said, “PM Modi has upgraded our standard of living through health and housing. He has also taken care of the poor and given them new wings. Only an influential leader like Modi Ji can embed such confidence in them.”
Later, the Chief Minister elaborated on the benefits of the 13 schemes of the Central government. Then, PM Modi chatted with various people from around the country through a virtual medium. The Chief Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of Poshan Yojana, Nal Se Jal, Ayushya Man Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Swa Nidhi Yojana in Kutch, Mehsana, Ahmedabad district.
