PM Narendra Modi gave his virtual presence on the 18th Patotsav of Ghanshyam Maharaj at Swaminarayan Mandir, Karelibaug, Vadodara. The gathering witnessed PM Modi through a digital screen on Thursday, May 19. The Gujarat State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party also graced the occasion. Many crucial ministers and BJP leaders of the state were also present during the event.
Swaminarayan Temple, Kundaldham, and Swaminarayan Temple Karelibaug, Vadodara, organised the Yuva Shivir in Vadodara. During the Sanskar Abhudaya Shivir, PM Modi requested the gathering to take resolutions to serve the country. He motivated the youth to devote at least 75 hours of service to the nation. The service activities must include carrying out sanitation campaigns, saving water and electricity, and creating a plastic-free environment.
PM Modi Praises Vadodara
During the video conference, PM Modi said that Gujarat’s natural agriculture campaign has the potential to conserve natural land resources. He focused on the character building of every generation the Indian saints have mentioned in our ancient scriptures. As per the PM, the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav focuses on creating a new identity of India with foresight and ancient traditions.
The Prime Minister provoked the youth to use digital currency instead of cash. He showcased the role of Vadodara in his personal and political life. Later, PM Modi fondly remembered his comrades, the late Keshubhai Thakkar, Jamnadas, KK Shah, Nalin Bhatt, Makrand Desai, and Ramesh Gupta. He praised Vadodara for its industrial and cultural development.
Gyanjivan Das, the camp pioneer, appealed to the crowd to join PM Modi’s efforts in nation-building. While addressing the youth, he said, ‘Sanskar means education, service and sensitivity, dedication, determination, and strength. It also means the upliftment and welfare of others. As we reach the pinnacle of success, we should serve others with its help.’
