Thursday’s Dior show in Mumbai was attended by a host of celebrities. International celebrities gathered at Mumbai’s Gateway of India for the performance. All were present, including Simone Ashley from Bridgerton 2 and actors Freida Pinto and Cara Delevingne.
Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones attended as well. The actor spoke at the occasion about her trip to India.
At the most recent Dior fashion show, Maisie Williams sat in the first row next to Sonam Kapoor, a Bollywood actor. At the performance, she wore a crimson outfit. Maisie talked about the people and culture of India when asked about her time there.
On Tuesday, the actor who plays Arya Stark in the popular HBO series Game of Thrones landed in Mumbai.
“I think that the culture is so beautiful. People are so kind, I felt so welcomed,” Maisie said as she attended the Dior show in Mumbai. Earlier, Maisie had shared a video from her hotel room in Mumbai. She had a tiny tika on her forehead, and wore a beaded necklace in the clip. Maisie showed around her room in the clip – from a picture of Lord Krishna on a wall to floral decorations on the floor. She said in the clip, “I just got to Mumbai and I am losing my mind a little bit.”
At the Dior show, Maisie, Cara, and other celebrities intermingled with Bollywood stars including Rekha, Mira Rajput, and Athiya Shetty, among others. Poorna Jagannathan from Never Have I Ever also attended the event and walked the red carpet. Mile and Apo, two Thai actors, were also spotted there.
Isha Ambani and Radhika Merchant were also on the list of attendees. Ananya Panday, Khushi Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Diana Penty, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, and Natasha Poonawalla were among the other celebrities that joined Anushka Sharma and her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli at the Dior show. After the event was over, fashion designer Maria Grazia Chiuri shared a video of the models on Instagram.
She wrote in her caption, “And it’s done! Thank you Mumbai for having us and thank you to the 99 wonderful girls who walked the show.”
