Parimal Nathwani, Director of Corporate Affairs at Reliance Industries Limited and Rajya Sabha MP, has extended an exquisite invitation to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for the upcoming wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The video of this grand gesture has gone viral on social media.
Nathwani expressed his immense pleasure on social media and wrote, “With immense pleasure, I extended an invitation to the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel, for the joyous union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.”
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, are set to tie the knot at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12.
The wedding festivities will kick off with the Shubh Vivah (wedding function) on July 12, where guests are encouraged to wear traditional Indian attire. On July 13, the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony will take place, with an Indian formal dress code. Finally, the Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) on July 14 will call for Indian chic attire.
The invitation itself is a work of art. Housed in a luxurious red box reminiscent of a temple closet, it opens to reveal a small silver temple that plays the Vishnu Sahastranamam Stotra. The temple is adorned with intricate sculptures of Gods Vishnu, Ganapati, Radha-Krishna, and Goddess Durga.
Inside the silver box, the invitation card continues the opulence. Crafted with intricate engravings, it features a portrait of Lord Vishnu on the first page, followed by event details on the subsequent five pages.
But that’s not all—the silver box also contains wedding favors. Guests will find a Vaishnava Tilak, and upon opening the box, the Vishnu Stotra will play. Other items include a showpiece silver temple with gold-plated deities, an embroidered napkin with the initials ‘A’ and ‘R,’ a silver box, and a shawl.
