The second Rajasthan DigiFest was held at the Government Polytechnic College in Jodhpur from November 11–13, 2022, and was organized by Rajasthan’s Department of Information Technology and Communication (DoITC).
More than 20,000 people attended the event, which featured over 250 companies from the IT, pharmaceutical, health, and financial sectors. The shortlist includes at least 7,500 job applicants. The highest package offered was around Rs 18 lpa (lakhs per annum).
With this, Rajasthan hopes to establish itself as a top location for technological advancements, skill improvement, and start-up initiatives.
The fest brought together a large exhibition and a marketplace of products and services by the state’s start-ups at one common platform. Over 80 start-ups from across the state, recognized by Rajasthan’s leading platform iStart, displayed their inventiveness and concepts at the fest.
Speaking at the event, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “The state has boomed in the IT sector, which was Rajiv Gandhi’s dream and is now coming true.” Today, Rajasthan can proudly compare itself to cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, etc. in terms of IT, innovation, and startup capabilities.
Startups had the chance to network with investors, accelerators, incubators, and sector experts at the event.
