An objection was raised on social media by the BJP MP Devusinh Chauhan when the MLA from his own party, Pankaj Desai tried to hog the full credit for the road repairs in Nadiad in Gujarat and became the talk of the town.
No politician worth his salt will let someone steal away the credit. It was proved right once again when the BJP MP from Kheda constituency in Gujarat quickly remarked on a Facebook post by Pankaj Desai, MLA from Nadiad raising his objection.
Pankaj Desai had posted on Facebook that the road repair work had commenced between Ganpati Temple crossroad to the express highway in Nadiad. The 4.2 km stretch of road was particularly in bad shape and a bane for the vehicle plying on that road.
When the Facebook post came to the notice of MP Devusinh Chauhan, he quickly remarked that the post contained only MLA Pankaj Desai’s name. Naturally, the MP saw this as an attempt to hog the complete credit by the MLA alone.
The MP then posted a comment on the post saying ” Bhai Pankahbhai, Jay Maharaj, You should have played fair by mentioning the name of the person who managed to approve the road repairs on priority by approaching the central government. I have facilitated many times your work, you would gain in stature if you cultivate the habit of gratitude and Fairplay”
Embarrassed Pankaj Desai added the name of the MP soon after and MP too deleted his post once his name was mentioned by MLA
