A shocking case of murder has come to light in Ahmedabad, where a mother and daughter, along with their friends, killed their ex-husband and father and dumped his body near a road. The rural LCB arrested the five accused on the charge of murder after identifying the body and interrogating the family members.
According to the police, the deceased was Harshad Rajput, who had divorced his wife a few years ago and lived separately. His daughter, who lived with her mother, was unhappy with him and wanted to get rid of him. She conspired with her mother and their friends to kill him and hired a car to execute their plan.
On January 12, they called Harshad to meet them near Aslali area and took him in the car. They then strangled him to death and drove to Dholka-Bavla road, where they threw his body in an open place near a gate. They also buried his mobile phone and clothes to destroy the evidence.
The next day, the police found the body and started an investigation. They traced the car number and the mobile phone location and reached the family members. They became suspicious of the ex-wife and daughter, who gave contradictory statements and showed no signs of grief. After intense interrogation, they confessed to their crime and revealed the names of their accomplices.
The police arrested the mother-daughter duo and their three friends and recovered the car, the mobile phone and the clothes. They have been booked for murder and are being further questioned. The police said that the motive behind the murder was personal enmity and hatred.
