Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on Saturday, where he will address rallies in various districts as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s campaign for the state’s Assembly elections next month. He will arrive in the state on Saturday and speak at a rally in the Valsad district in the evening.
This rally will take place around 6.30 p.m. in Valsad’s Jujwa village. The prime minister will address four rallies on Sunday in the districts of Bhavnagar, Amreli, and Junagadh.
This is Modi’s second visit to his home state since the Assembly election schedule was announced. On his most recent visit, on November 6, he addressed a rally in Kaprada, Valsad district, and attended a mass marriage ceremony in Bhavnagar.
Elections to the 182-member Gujarat Assembly will be held in two phases, on December 1 and 5, with vote counting beginning on December 8.
