Preeti Shroff, Dean of MICA, stepped down from her position on June 21, 2022. In the light of a family health situation, Dr. Shroff has taken this measure. However, the business school claims that she shall remain associated with MICA as the Senior Advisor to the President.
Preeti Shroff served MICA for six years. Moreover, she has a vast understanding of topics like democratic governance. Her other areas of expertise are international management and development, civil society capacity development, and public and private sector leadership.
The MICA Dean has also been a part of several international management and training projects across the globe. Further, she worked with many global organizations like UNICEF, Peace Corps, and World Bank. She has also operated with governmental bodies of other nations like the US State Department’s Bureau of Human Rights (DRL), Middle Eastern Peace Initiative (MEPI), and Misereor of Germany.
Next-generation leadership and designing solutions through innovative organizational enterprise are her fields of interest. Youth education and partnerships, cross-sector resource sharing, technology platform leveraging, and engaging communities are her forte. During her years in MICA, she worked thoroughly for the betterment of the insititute.
Her academic teaching experience involves teaching at Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies, State University of New York, and more. She has also taught in the School for International Training, Washington DC.
However, dedicating a quarter of her life to quality education, she is stepping down from her academic duties.
