Meera is at Cannes to release the trailer for her film, Safed, and to make her big Cannes debut. She’s obviously excited, and it is very much evident by the smile on her face in this red-carpet shot.

Meera Chopra is thrilled to be presenting the first trailer for her film, Safed, at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. It’s also her first time at Cannes. Meera Chopra hit the red carpet at Cannes 2022 wearing a pink gown and flashing that dazzling smile. Pictures from her red-carpet appearance have gone viral.
Meera Chopra was recently seen wearing a gold shimmering dress from Cannes. This, however, was not a red carpet look, but rather one from one of her trips to the French Riviera.
SAFED IS BROUGHT TO CANNES BY MEERA
Meera Chopra highlighted her enthusiasm at unveiling the poster for her next film Safed and making her red carpet debut at Cannes. She stated, “I’m definitely looking forward to making my Cannes debut this year. It’s too much for me because I’ll be representing my film Safed as well as walking the famous red carpet. So it’s a double whammy for me, as well as a significant duty.”
Safed is a love story directed by Sandeep Singh and produced by Vinod Bhanushal, Sandeep, and Ajay Harinath Singh. It stars Meera Chopra and Abhay Verma. On May 20, the film’s first look was revealed at Cannes 2022.
Just a few days before heading to Cannes, Meera Chopra announced Safed on social media with a caption, “Super excited to announce ‘Safed’ an unimaginable love story, created by @officialsandipssingh Taking the film internationally, the makers are heading to Cannes. The first look of #safed will be unveiled by an Academy Award winning Indian dignitary in Cannes on May 20th, during the 75th Cannes Film Festival with the lead actors @Verma.abhay_ and @meerachopra, along with the director @officialsandipssingh, producers, @vinod.bhanushali and @ajay.harinathsinhg. Co-producers #kamleshbhanushali, @the_vishal_gurnani and @juhiparekhmehtaofficial will also be the part of the delegation. (sic).”
The 75th Cannes Film Festival is the talk of the town right now. Several Indian superstars have descended on the red carpet, including jury member Deepika Padukone and Cannes regular Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. What else?
