Manubhai & Shah LLP, a renowned accounting firm, marked its 50th anniversary with a grand celebration in Ahmedabad on Friday. Established in 1975, the firm has grown into a national powerhouse with a global clientele, serving diverse industries, including privately held businesses, publicly traded companies, and non-profit organisations.
The golden jubilee celebration featured a keynote address by Padma Shri awardee and former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), CA TN Manoharan.
“India is on the cusp of transformational growth, fuelled by its demographic advantage, political stability, dynamic policies, and thriving entrepreneurial spirit,” he said. Highlighting India’s strengths in technology, manufacturing, and innovation, he noted, “India is not just witnessing progress but shaping the future of the global economy. By empowering its youth and embracing opportunities, there’s no limit to the heights India can achieve as it marches toward its centenary of independence in 2047.”
Discussing the future of the accounting profession, CA Manoharan remarked, “The accounting profession is evolving beyond number-crunching to become a vital force in strategic decision-making and leadership. Chartered Accountancy provides a strong foundation to excel in any field, and there is a need to reorient ourselves to align with the evolving times.”
Kaushik Patel, Managing Partner of Manubhai & Shah LLP, reflected on the firm’s journey, stating, “What started as a small vision in 1975 with two partners has now grown into a team of 18 partners supported by a cadre of qualified professionals. As we celebrate this milestone, we take pride in our achievements over the last 50 years and look forward to building on this success in the years to come.”
Kshitij Patel, also a Managing Partner, outlined the firm’s future ambitions: “We are scaling up our presence with plans for nationwide expansion in the coming years. By adopting the latest technological tools, we aim to serve our clients better. Alongside a strong focus on international operations, we are prioritising domestic growth to support India’s economic progress.”
