The Special Commissioner of Police in Delhi confirmed that Lawrence Bishnoi was a major hand in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case. Addressing the press conference conducted on Wednesday, he said that five more shooters had been identified by the police in the case. He also revealed that Siddesh Hiraman Kamle, known as Mahakal, was a close confidante of the main shooter who killed the singer. Mahakal was arrested for the same. The police had filed the case as inter-gang rivalry and had said that Lawrence Bishnoi was behind it. Meanwhile, Goldy Brar, another member of the Bishnoi gang, had openly claimed responsibility for the assassination.
On May 29, the popular singer Sidhu Moosewala was assassinated by unidentified slayers.Two people, his cousin and his friend who were traveling with him, were also injured in the act.
Bishnoi and his gang, consisting of professional shooters, work from different states such as Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi. It is said their network is spread across the world.
Lawrence Bishnoi himself, is an LLB graduate from Punjab University.He lives in Firozepur and is involved in several illegal activities. Cases have been filed against him in Chandigarh and other states.
The entire gang threatens and extracts money from influential people such as the liquor mafia and Punjabi singers, among others.
