The Government has finalised the postings of six IPS Officers. Vijay Singh Gurjar, Jagdish Bangarwa, Abhishek Gupta, Atul Kumar Bansal, Vishakha Dabral and Shripal Shesma have been allotted Gujarat cadre in Indian Police Service. The officers in this coveted service have completed their Phase II training at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad. SVPNPA is the institute which trains Indian Police Service (IPS) officers before they are sent to their respective state cadres to carry out their duties.
Abhishek Gupta is posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police at Khambhat, District Anand.
Atul Kumar Bansal is selected for the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police at Morbi, District Morbi.
Ms Vishakha Dabral will be heading the Jambusar division of Bharuch District as Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Shripal Shesma is posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police at Vapi, District Valsad.
Vijay Singh Gurjar is posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police at Jhalod, District Dahod.
Jagdish Bangarwa is posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police at Dahod, District Dahod.
Apart from the above postings, six other IPS officers with Gujarat Police Force have been transferred in the same order issued by the Home department.
