The government had made a decision to keep the Statue of Unity closed from October 28 to October 31 for tourists following the visit of PM Narendra Modi. However, keeping the demand of people in view, the announcement has now been reversed.
Meanwhile, tourist spots at Kevadia Colony will also continue so that people can visit the place.
However, in view of National Unity Day on October 31, 2021, adequate security arrangements will be made at Kevadia Colony.
