The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to release its election manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly elections on Monday. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and party stalwart BS Yediyurappa will be present when party president JP Nadda releases the manifesto.
According to sources, the party manifesto may emphasise initiatives to improve youth welfare, infrastructure, and women empowerment. A special announcement can be made for the youth and girl students who have passed class 12 in order to encourage first-time voters.
The BJP addressed every aspect of society in its 2018’s election manifesto. Measures for cow protection were also included in the party’s manifesto.
In the meantime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised the Congress severely for comparing him to a snake, while speaking at an election rally in Kolar on Sunday.
The people of Karnataka, according to Modi, will provide the party with a “befitting answer” in the upcoming Assembly elections.
