Vikram, on its third day of the release, wrapped up its first weekend soaring high in numbers. It marks Kamal Haasan’s highest-grossing movie after Dashavataram (2008), which grossed 85 crores.
The film had a spectacular opening day of ₹34 crores on Friday. After a hold on Saturday, it grossed higher than the opening day on Sunday and surpassed ₹100 crores.
The box office collection of Vikram in India is as follows:
Friday – ₹34 crores
Saturday – ₹31.75 crores
Sunday – ₹35.25 crores
Thus, it collected a whopping ₹101 crores and became the third Kollywood movie in India to earn over ₹100 crores.
On Sunday, Vikram, Kamal Haasan blockbuster, collected the highest of ₹20.25 crores in Tamil Nadu. Based on the performance this week, it might become the highest-grossing movie in Tamil Nadu. However, the Hindi dubbed didn’t earn much. It managed to hit Rs. 1 crore net on Sunday.

Tamil Nadu- ₹61 crores
Ap/Ts- ₹10.50 crores
Karnataka- ₹10.50 crores
Kerala- ₹15 crores
Rest of India- ₹4 crore
