JioFinance has taken an important move towards its global expansion by enabling payments in Paris. This is the first overseas market expansion for the company as the JioFinance app is now available for transactions at certain tourist sites in the capital city of France.
JioFinance will enable payments for tickets to renowned attractions like the Eiffel Tower through its official website, La Tour Eiffel, to make it easier for Indian tourists visiting Paris. The renowned Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store in Paris will also allow in-store purchases via the app. The purpose of this move is to facilitate digital transactions for Indian visitors while they are in Paris.
Furthermore, in association with the Indian Olympic Association and the Reliance Foundation, JioFinance provides an enhanced experience through the exclusive “India House”. India House serves as a home away from home for Indian athletes and visitors during the Paris Olympic Games, showcasing India’s tradition and culture.
With this growth, JioFinance highlights its dedication to offering advanced, frictionless payment options, including digital banking, wallet services, UPI payments, and foreign transactions, to improve its consumers’ travel experiences.
