Veteran scriptwriter-poet, Javed Akhtar has confirmed rumours of son Farhan marrying his long-time girlfriend, Shibani. “She is a lovely girl. Wedding planners have been entrusted the entire charge and we have kept it to limited numbers owing to the pandemic,” he told mediapersons outside his residence.
Javed Akhtar ‘s son Farhan was previously married to hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani, and they have two daughters, Shakya and Akira. However, the 17-year-old marriage ended in a divorce in 2017. On the professional front, Farhan is set to make his directorial comeback after more than a decade with Jee Le Zaraa, starring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The film is expected to release next year.
