Are Virak Kohli and Anushka Sharma shifting base to the UK with their two kids? Lately, there have been speculations on social media that they power couple may be eyeing London for settlement.
After the couple had a baby boy in February 2024, Anushka has reportedly stayed back in the UK capital. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their second child in London. The couple had been relishing a blissful phase of their lives outside India with their two children, Vamika and Akaay Kohli.
While Virat Kohli faced criticism for missing the recent five-match Test series against England, many praised his decision to prioritise his family during their time of need. Kohli has since returned to India, but Anushka continues to stay there with their family.
Some netizens on social media are now speculating whether Virat and Anushka plan to shift to the UK with their kids, Vamika and Akaay. A Reddit user recently shared a post noting that Anushka Sharma was last spotted in India in December 2023, yet she gave birth to her son in the UK in February 2024. It appears the family intends to stay there for some time. The user speculated about whether they plan to gradually transition to the UK after the birth of their children.
Following the post, netizens shared their opinions in the comments section. One user speculated, “Virat is back for IPL… but yes, they could shift to the UK once Virat is done with cricket.” Another user pointed out various factors, stating, “Yes, because a) if you have money, life in the UK is very peaceful, b) citizenship is easily available with some investment, c) privacy for Vamika and Akaay, which they want, d) Anushka in her initial interviews had always said that she does want to be a housewife and be there for her children.”
Meanwhile Virat is excelling in his role as a father. Recently spotted at the airport en route to Bangalore, Virat’s outfit of the night (OOTN) stole hearts. He sported a stylish T-shirt adorned with the word ‘Daddy’ and cute cartoons, showcasing his devotion to his children.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot at a resort in Italy on December 11. The couple welcomed their first child in 2021.
