IPL 2025: Krunal Pandya Joins RCB for Rs 5.75 Crore

Indian allrounder Krunal Pandya will don the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) jersey in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season after being acquired for Rs 5.75 crore at the auction held in Jeddah.

Krunal entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore, with RCB initiating the bidding. The Rajasthan Royals soon entered the fray, sparking an intense battle for the experienced player. Ultimately, RCB triumphed over the Royals to secure Pandya’s services.

This marks the third IPL franchise for the seasoned allrounder, who previously represented the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Krunal was a pivotal member of the Mumbai Indians from 2016 to 2021, contributing significantly to their championship campaigns. His IPL career spans 127 matches, during which he has amassed 1,647 runs and bagged 76 wickets.

In his overall T20 career, he boasts 2,757 runs, including eight half-centuries, and 139 wickets across 200 matches.
