On the third day of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, both newly introduced teams are all set to take on each other to make their IPL debuts. Both the teams will be aiming to win their debut matches with Gujarat Titans under Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul leading Lucknow Super Giants.
A day before the match, Gujarat Titans shared a fun video wherein both the captains are seen asking questions to each other. The video shows Hardik calling KL Rahul and asking him to answer whatever comes to his mind first, whenever he hears ‘Hardik Pandya’, to this KL Rahul replied, “First thing is a very dear friend, is a brother and is also a mental person.” On being asked the same question by KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya was seen saying “bhai-bhai” in Gujju style to reply.
Reacting on most of the similar answers by Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul was seen saying, “Hardik, don’t copy my answer,” from time to time. Answering the question related to Hardik’s captaincy, Rahul said, “Like everybody else in the country, even I am waiting to see what kind of captain Hardik will be… Looking forward to what he does unless he tries to copy me again.” However, to the same question, Hardik jokingly said, “I have many thoughts (on your captaincy), but it is very difficult to share it on screen.”
Gujarat Titans have roped in Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami and Lockie Ferguson for their bowling department at the auction. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants will have an eye on skipper KL Rahul and his opening partner Quinton de Kock, Avesh Khan from the bowling department and the all-rounders Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya.
