In Dahod, a class X failed student has killed his lover inspired by the Telugu movie ‘RX100’ which stars Karthikeya and Payal. In the Bhanpur Vadlawala forest, a burnt body that was unidentified was found.
According to the sources, the deceased Kritika Baranda wanted to break up with her boyfriend Mehul Parmar. However, he wanted to continue the relationship. While their relationship was going through this phase, he happened to come across the movie, RX100.
Seeing the pain of the hero in the film, he decides to kill his girlfriend by taking the help of two of his friends who are minors. Mehul confessed that he has killed his girlfriend near Saat Bangla in Dahod. He even mentioned that the girl was wearing a jacket and she was thrown in the forest and the body was set on fire.
In the Sanjeli Taluka, the father of the deceased Kritika Baranda lodged a complaint after the body was found. The accused was arrested within hours. The accused, Mehul Parmar was produced in front of a bench in Sanjeli Court and remanded for five days while many details about the murder was discovered including the affair between the accused and the murdered.
As soon as the body of the unidentified girl was discovered from the Bhanpur Vadlawala forest of Sanjeli Taluka, the police investigation began. A team comprising of Sanjeli PSI GB Rathwa and DySP reached the spot and took possession of the body and conducted an investigation. The items including paddle, bike, jacket, clothes, slippers used in the murder were found.
The paddle was used in the murder on the 25th of November and it was found in Saat Bangla Lake. After which, the police team found two red and yellow blood-stained jackets with the help of swimmers from Pavdi Kankan Jussa Dam, two days later.
He also seized clothes and slippers worn by the accused during the murder from Hazari Farm Dahod. While his mobile was not yet found. Currently, the accused has been sent to judicial custody after completion of the five days of remand.
