In Ayodhya, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram is to be held on January 22, 2024, at the Ram Mandir. Devotees are eagerly awaiting the darshan of Lord Ram. Before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the first look of Ramlala’s Mukharvind has been released.
In the picture, Lord Ram’s face is seen smiling sweetly and there is a tilak on his head. The idol is made of black stone and has been carved by Mysore-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj. The 51-inch idol of Ramlala was brought to the temple on Thursday morning.
Pujari Arun Dixit, who is associated with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, told the media that the idol of Ramlala was installed in the Garbhagriha on Thursday afternoon. According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is overseeing the construction of the temple, Ramlala was installed in the Garbhagriha with Vedic chants.
Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust trustee from Udupi Pejawar Mutt, Vishwapranand Theertha, said that the Pran Pratishtha will be held on January 22. He said that only invited guests are allowed to enter the temple on the day of inauguration for security reasons. The temple is likely to be opened to the public the next day after the Pran Pratishtha.
