Heavy rains are poised to make a comeback in the state of Gujarat after a week-long break. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for heavy rains in regions of South Gujarat over the next two days.
“Over the next 24 hours, heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the South Gujarat region, namely Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Dadra, and Nagar Haveli,” as per the IMD’s latest report.
Subsequently, on August 21st, heavy rains are expected at isolated places in the same districts of South Gujarat.
The report also states that light to moderate rain is expected in all districts of Gujarat over the next six days, until August 26th.
