Following an intense monsoon period, the people of Gujarat can expect some relief as rainfall is predicted to decrease across most areas over the next seven days.
The majority of the state is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall until September 10, according to the daily forecast from the Indian Meteorological Department.
A yellow alert has been issued for the following districts: Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Morbi, Kutch; Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Dahod, Mahisagar, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad and Daman.
Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Kutch are projected to get significant rainfall on September 6.
On September 7, heavy rains are predicted in remote areas in the districts of Banaskantha, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
On September 8, heavy rains are likely to occur in isolated places in the districts of Valsad and Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
All areas may have light to moderate rain on September 9 and 10, but there are no warnings or alerts in effect during these days.
