Ravi Gandhi, Inspector General of the Border Security Force (Gujarat border), is on a visit to border areas in the Bhuj sector, which includes the Harami Nala, a vulnerable channel on the Indo-Pak border.
Addressing the troops at different border outposts, IG applauded their role in safeguarding our country’s frontiers in the challenging scenario. He visited the Bhuj sector and reviewed the security arrangement at the Bhuj border. Inspector General of BSF Ravi Gandhi said, the security of the borders is very vital for the development of the nation.
During his four-day visit from the 13th of January, Mr. Gandhi visited Haraminalla and various places on International Borders to address all security-related concerns. He also reviewed undergoing construction works along the International Border and operational preparedness for effective border domination. The IG also apprised the troops of various welfare schemes and measures taken by the BSF.
BSF is providing all assistance to the economic activities going on in the border areas.
