Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, alleged today that the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate are torturing witnesses against Manish Sisodia and him.
“The CBI and the ED filed false affidavits in excise policy case in court. They are torturing people to testify against Manish Sisodia and me,” Kejriwal said at a press conference a day after he was summoned by the investigating agency on Sunday for questioning in the Delhi excise policy case.
When asked if he would appear before the CBI tomorrow, the AAP national convenor responded, “If Kejriwal is a thief, then no one is corruption free.”
The Delhi CM stated that ever since he spoke out against corruption in the Delhi Assembly, he knew he would be the next person the Central Bureau of Investigation would summon.
