In a major shakeup, the Home Department of the Gujarat government on Saturday ordered the promotion and transfer of 67 IPS and 58 SPS officers in the state.
Among the IPS officers, Vidhi Chaudhary, IPS (GJ:2009), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-3, Surat City is transferred and appointed to the vacant ex-cadre post of Joint Director, office of Director of Prosecution, Gandhinagar. Vishalkumar Baldevbhai Vaghela, IPS (GJ:2009) Superintendent of Police, CID (Intelligence), Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed on cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Sabarkantha vice Shri Neerajkumar Badgujar, IPS transferred. Jaipalsingh Rathore, IPS (GJ:2010), Superintendent of Police, Bhavnagar is transferred and appointed to cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Rajkot (Rural) vice Shri Balram Meena, IPS transferred.
Among the SPS officers, Manoharsinh Jadeja, SPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-2, Rajkot City is transferred and appointed to cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Gir-Somnath vice Shri Rahul Tripathi, IPS transferred. Tejas Patel, SPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Admn.), Ahmedabad City is transferred and appointed on the ex-cadre post of Superintendent, Central Jail, Ahmedabad vice Shri Rohan Anand, IPS transferred. Rahul Patel, SPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Surat City is transferred and appointed to the cadre post of Superintendent of Police, Tapi vice Smt. Sujata Mazmudar, IPS transferred.
