The forthcoming coronation concert for King Charles III will feature musical performances by numerous singers.
According to the media reports, Andrea Bocelli, Lionel Richie, and Katy Perry have agreed to perform at the coronation ceremony.
Perry, 38, Richie, 73, and Bocelli, 64, are among the brightest stars on the roster, which also includes British pop group Take That, as well as Sir Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings and Alexis Ffrench.
“American Idol” judges Perry and Richie have known Charles for years, having served as ambassadors for his charities.
Since 2020, the ‘Roar’ songstress has served as a British Asian Trust ambassador. Charles helped co-found the nonprofit organisation to combat poverty in South Asia. Buckingham Palace revealed the three-day celebration’s details.
The Big Help Out, a statewide programme to encourage volunteerism, and a star-studded concert at Windsor Castle are a few of the highlights.
