The 51-year-old Hollywood Actor Jeremy Renner was airlifted to the hospital on Sunday following the incident at his residence close to Reno, Nevada, according to a spokesperson. Renner was “receiving excellent care” as a result of the “weather-related accident”.
In the US, there have been dozens of deaths due to the blizzard. Thousands of flights had to be cancelled due to the winter storm, which also resulted in power outages.
According to the local public information officer Kristin Vietti, Renner was the only person involved in the accident and was brought to a nearby hospital. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office’s major accident investigation team is investigating the incident’s circumstances.
“Responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada on Sunday morning at 09:00,” the office stated. Renner’s role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is undoubtedly what makes him the most famous.
He has also appeared in movies including American Hustle, Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and The Hurt Locker, for which he was nominated for an Oscar for best actor. For his part in The Town, Renner was also nominated for an Oscar for best-supporting actor.
He presently plays the lead in the Paramount+ series The Mayor of Kingstown, and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery featured a cameo for his fictitious own-branded hot sauce.
