Gandhinagar: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for multiple development projects worth Rs 211 crore. These include inauguration and foundation stone laying for 10 projects aimed at improving water supply, sports facilities, housing, road network, and green cover in the region, boosting connectivity and enhancing ease of living.
HM Shah said a year and a half ago I participated in the groundbreaking of this scheme and today 13 thousand people have got drinking water in their homes, this is an excellent example of working at a fast pace.
He also appealed to all the citizens of Gandhinagar area to hoist the national flag at homes on 13th, 14th and 15th August.
In his address, Amit Shah said that today development works worth more than Rs 200 crore have been inaugurated and foundation stone laid here. Among them tree plantation, housing, drinking water availability and many other types of works have been started in different areas of Gandhinagar Lok Sabha. He said that PM Modi’s vision was to provide Narmada water to every household in Gujarat and today it has reached Bopal and Ghuma at a cost of Rs 77 crore.
