The Gujarat Weather Forecast Department has forecast rains in different parts of Gujarat for the next 4 days from today. Normal to heavy rainfall is expected from 24 July to 27 July across state. In addition to rain, winds will blow in the Arabian Sea at a speed of 5-60 kmph so fishermen have been instructed not to go near the seas.
According to the Gujarat Weather Forecast Department, besides North Gujarat, heavy rains are expected in Dahod, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi and Daman, while other districts of Saurashtra may receive moderate to normal rainfall. On July 25, Sunday, heavy rains are expected in Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli in South Gujarat state and also in Aravali, Kheda and Dahod regions.
On July 26, heavy rains are expected in Aravalli, Anand, Vadodara, Panchmahal, Dahod, Tapi, Mahisagar, Daman, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Bharuch, Surat, Surendranagar and Botad.
On July 27, heavy rains are expected in Valsad, Navsari, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Girsomnath and Diu in the state and on July 28, Heavy rains are expected in Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Dadarnagar Haveli in South Gujarat.
