The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday projected that certain districts in North Gujarat are set to experience heavy rain over the next two days. However, in broad terms, most districts of the state will likely experience light to moderate rain over the next seven days, until August 15th.
As per the latest bulletin from the IMD, there is a high probability of heavy rainfall in certain areas within the districts of North Gujarat, specifically in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Mahisagar, during the course of the next 24 hours.
In remote areas of the districts of North Gujarat, such as Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Mahisagar, significant rains are also predicted on August 10. Light to moderate rain is expected in all of Gujarat’s districts between August 11 and August 15.
Separate locations in the Vadodara district of South Gujarat had severe rainfall on Thursday, according to the IMD bulletin.
