South Korean singer Kim Tae-hyung, known by his stage name V in his turn as a vocalist of the boy band BTS, recently tested positive for COVID-19.
V had met BTS members on February 12. However, none of the other members of the wildly popular, seven-member South Korean boy band have tested positive.
“V had completed two rounds of vaccination, and he does not exhibit any serious symptoms other than mild fever and a sore throat. He is being treated at home,” the BTS press statement read.
V received numerous messages from BTS fans, known as the ‘BTS Armyu’, while he was home quarantining.
J-Hope, who turns 29 on February 18, also received some comforting birthday love, receiving strawberries and many gifts from bandmate Jin.
