Harshvardhan Patil’s Daughter To Tie The Knot With Bal Thackeray’s Grandson In Mumbai

Ankita Patil – currently a member of the Pune Zilla Parishad and the director of the Indian Sugar Mills Association is all set to tie the knot with Nihar Thackeray, the grandson of Bal Thackeray who is working as an advocate in Mumbai.

Reportedly, the couple will get married at hotel Taj in Mumbai in the presence of a select few on December 28.

On December 7, BJP leader Harshvardhan Patil personally invited Raj Thackeray – the leader of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, for the wedding.

Background of Ankita Patil

Born on December 26,1991, Ankita is the youngest and only female Member of the Indian Sugar Mills Association and Co-Chairman of Legal Sub-Committee, Indian Sugar Mills Association which is one of the leading organizations working in the sugar industry in India.

Moreover, she is the daughter of Harshvardhan Shahajirao Patil, a former minister in Government of Maharashtra who quit the Indian National Congress in 2019 after a long association with the party and then joined the BJP.

Background of Nihar Thackeray

Nihar Thackeray is the grandson of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray and the son of late Bindumadhav Thackeray who died in an accident in 1996. Nephew of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Nihar works as an advocate in Mumbai.
