A high-level meeting on Wednesday was held under the chairmanship of Harsh Sanghvi, Gujarat Minister of State for Home Affairs, regarding the implementation of various projects under Mahila Suraksha Setu. Under the Women’s Safety Bridge, various projects are executed for the protection, upliftment and empowerment of women.
Gujarat is at the forefront of security in the country. It was directed to the senior police officers in the meeting to give special attention to the safety of women and senior citizens. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, the Home Minister held discussions with senior officials to work more accurately in the future on the security of women and senior citizens and their secure future.
Sanghvi informed that after the discussion regarding specific plans and projects, the government is positive about their strategic implementation to increase the safety of women, as well as senior citizens.
