Shah, who started Seva Yajna from the time she has been active in social services, is scheduled to retire on February 20 after which she will lead a life as a Sannyasi.
Shah has regularly been a donor of hair that led her to become an ambassador for the Hair Oil Company. She made wigs for cancer patients in the United States.

With time, Shah decided to retire with the consent of her parents – mother Rinaben and father Nitinbhai and also started Seva Yojna.
While helping the cancer victims, on the other hand, they also started persuading their parents for sannyas karma. After receiving an immensely positive response to her Seva Yojna, after a long wait of 12 years, the path of Nidhi Shah’s ascetic life was opened. And her parents gladly agreed for her retirement.
Nidhi Shah will be accepting Samyam on February 20, near Rashtrasant Namramuni Maharaj.
Inspiration behind Nidhi Shah’s decision
When Nidhi Shah met Param Gurudev, he asked her a question – “there are thousands of cancer patients in the world who do not have hair on their heads, have you ever thought for these cancer victims?”
This question shook Shah’s entire existence. To make these words of Param Gurudev meaningful, Shah, within an instant, decided to come to the decision of donating her hairs and make wig for cancer victims. This question led her to initiate Seva Yajna and lend a hand forward to help cancer victims.
