When we hear the term ‘Hacking,’ one image flashes up in our minds. This image depicts a person wearing a black outfit and having a ghost mask on him, along with numerous computers with thousands of code lines. The picture mainly tells us about unethical hacking. But do you think that all the hackers are like that? No! Some are hired in workplaces to protect and secure the company’s data. These hackers are called ethical hackers, and their hacking style is called ethical hacking.
Ethical hacking is beneficial for some but harmful for others. Ethical hacking involves:
· Getting the I.P. ( Internet Protocol) address by penetrating the hacker’s computer.
· Retrieving the data logs.
· Deleting the system files of the hacker.
This process is very tedious and involves a lot of concentration and logical ability to be incognito and carry out the operation successfully. Many famous ethical hackers like Ankit Fadia, Vivek Ramachandran, and many more have shown their ability to hack systems for a more significant cause. If we look at their salary, here is what we get
1. Google – ₹ 59 l to ₹ 64 l per annum
2. Infosys – ₹ 4 l per annum
3. Microsoft -₹ 8.59 l per annum
Day by day, data loss and credential security risks are increasing. One day, there is a chance that we might lose our data. To sum it up, in the end, ethical hacking is a career we should pursue in the future.
