Several places in Gujarat, including Vadodara, Bhavnagar and Kutch, witnessed a mysterious fireball in the skies on Saturday evening, which experts believe to be debris of artificial satellites.
Scared at what they saw in the skies, many people rushed out of their homes in panic as well as curiosity to see this unusual phenomenon. Some even filmed the fireball falling towards the earth on their mobile phone.
The event was spotted around 8 p.m. Vadodara-based scientist Divyadarshan Purohit told a section of the media that this would in all probability be the debris of hundreds of worn-out satellites floating in the skies.
