The Indian navy has seized drugs of about 200 kg from a boat near Porbandar port in Gujarat. Four individuals, two each from Iran and Pakistan. The consignment is one of the biggest that has been seized in recent times.
The Navy acted upon the intelligence inputs about the boat carrying the boat. When the naval officers intercepted the boat they were surprised to find a huge quantity of drugs. They detained four Iranians and two Pakistani nationals on board the boat.
At the same time, in another case, drugs worth 6 crores is seized in the joint operation of the Navy and NCB. The seizure has been made in the posh area of Jamnagar. In this case, the police have taken legal action by arresting more than three drug smugglers.
