According to the health department, 10 new Covid-19 cases were registered in Gujarat on Thursday, tallying the number of infections to 8,25,445, while no deaths were reported from Covid in the state.
At the same time, it is said that with the discharge of 12 patients from hospitals in a day, the number of those recovering has increased to 8,15,213 and there are a total of 151 active cases in the state.
Gujarat’s Covid-19 has a recovery rate of 98.76 percent. Out of 151 active cases, only 3 patients are on ventilators, while 148 are in stable condition.
So far 4.77 crore doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been given in Gujarat. Of these, more than 7.23 lakh vaccinations were given on Thursday. In the last 24 hours, no new case of Kovid-19 has come to light in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, the release said.
Out of the total 10,635 persons found to be covid positive in the Union Territory, 10,627 have recovered, four have died and many are undergoing treatment.
