Gujarat logged a fresh of 777 new cases in the last 24 hours on Saturday with the total cases tally in the state reaching 12,42,087.
With no change in the previous trend, Ahmedabad registered a highest of 311 cases on Saturday. Surat followed Ahmedabad with a total of 113 new Covid-19 cases, Mehsana with 54 and Vadodara reported 53 new cases on Saturday.
Apart from this, a total of 626 Covid-19 patients defeated the disease in the lost 24 hours and one in Rajkot succumb to the disease in the last 24 hours on Saturday. With this changes, the active caseload figure of the state reached 4,632 and the death toll in the state reached 10,954 and total number of recoveries stood at 12,26,501.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, the state administered over 1.79 lakh more vaccine jabs against Covid-19 on Saturday. The total number of doses administered in the state reached up to 11.24 crore.
