Gopal Das, the accused in Naba Das murder case underwent Narco test in Gandhinagar today. Truth serum test was performed at the Directorate of Forensic Science Lab (DFSL).
Gopal’s vitals were checked and blood pressure, sugar were monitored before taking him for the Narco test, according to reports.
During the Narco Test, a chemical ‘Truth Serum’ is injected into the subject intravenously to let them slip into a sub-conscious state. After that the probe agency darts questions to get answers.
Earlier, Das underwent a polygraph test too. The results of Polygraph and Narco tests hold little weight in the court of law.
On Janurary 29, Naba Das was allegedly shot by Gopal near Gandhi Chhak at Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda district. Das, who sustained serious injuries in the attack, was first rushed to Jharsuguda District Headquarters Hospital and then he was airlifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar where he succumbed to his injuries.
