As part of routine exercise, the Gujarat High Court has transferred 222 district judges. 88 Senior Civil Judges. 78 District Judges and 56 Civil Judges have been affected by The exercise.
Four judges from Ahmedabad CBI Court have been trasferred to Sessions Court whereas eight Judges from Bhadra Sessions Court in Ahmedabad have been shifted to other districts. 11 Judges form Ahmedabad Metropolitan Court are trasferred too.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Ahmedabad Ms. Hetal Dave is transferred to Bhavnagar. Mr Amit Dave from Navsari will replace her. Fourteen judges are given posting at Ahmedabad only. 78 Judicial Officers also have been internally transferred.
Mr. H H Thakkar who delivered Ahmedabad Serial Blast case verdict is transferred to Dahod.
