Gujarat Government Makes Major Reshuffle; Transfers 18 IAS Officers

In an expected routine transfer order, 18 IAS officers were shuffled in the state on Wednesday. 

Among significant highlights, Manoj Kumar Das is appointed in the Chief Minister’s Office. Pankaj Joshi is given an additional charge of ACS Ports & Transport. Mukesh Kumar is out and Sunaina Tomar replaces him as ACS Education. As ACS Revenue, Dr Jayanti Ravi is returning to Gujarat. Here’s the full list: 

– Sunaina Tomar, Additional Chief Secretary of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department to Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department.

– Pankaj Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary with additional charge of the Ports and Transport Department to Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister.

– Manoj Kumar Das, Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department to Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister with additional charge of the Home Department.

– Jayanti Ravi, appointed as Additional Chief Secretary in the Revenue Department.

– Anju Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary of the Labour and Skill Development Department to the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare, and Cooperation Department.

– S.J. Haider, from the Industries and Mines Department to the Energy and Petrochemicals Department.

– Jagdish Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department.

– Dr. T. Natarajan, Principal Secretary of the Finance Department.

– Mamta Verma, from the Energy and Petrochemicals Department to Principal Secretary of the Industries and Mines Department.

– Mukesh Kumar, from the Education Department (Higher and Technical Education) to the Principal Secretary of the Education Department (Primary and Secondary Education).

– Rajeev Topno, is appointed as Chief Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad.

– Dr. Vinod Ramachandra Rao, from the Education Department (Primary and Secondary Education) to the Labour, Skill Development, and Employment Department.

– Anupam Anand, from Commissioner of the Labour Department to Commissioner of Transport, Gandhinagar.

– Rajesh Manjhu, from Principal Secretary to the Governor to Revenue Inspection Commissioner.

– Rakesh Shankar, from the General Administration Department to Commissioner of the Women and Child Development Department.

– K.K. Nirala, from Commissioner of Women and Child Development to Secretary of the Finance Department.

– A.M. Sharma, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation – Ahmedabad to Principal Secretary to the Governor.

– Dr. S. Murali Krishna, Principal Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department, transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the State Election Commission for appointment as Officer on Special Duty to Commissioner, State Election Commission.
