In the past 24 hours, numerous areas in Gujarat have experienced heavy rainfall, with Khambaliya in Dwarka district receiving a staggering over 9 inches of rain. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast indicating further rainfall for most parts of the state today.

According to the latest bulletin from the IMD, light to moderate rain is expected across all districts of Gujarat, except for Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana and Sabarkantha on the current day.

Tomorrow, on Tuesday, the IMD anticipates light thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and surface winds reaching 30-40 kmph in gusts, along with light to moderate rain at isolated locations in various districts such as Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara and others.

Similar weather patterns are foreseen for June 19th, affecting districts like Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and more. On June 20th, the IMD predicts light thunderstorms, surface winds and rain in districts including Vadodara, Surat, Navsari and Junagadh.

Looking ahead to June 21st, the IMD suggests that light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers may occur in various areas, primarily in Vadodara, Surat and Daman-Diu. Isolated regions in Saurashtra districts like Junagadh and Bhavnagar could also witness similar weather conditions.
